What you’ll be doing:

Be the responsible individual on the WSUK Leadership Team for Business Winning and Strategic Campaigns (Pre Phase 0 to Phase 2A)

Lead all LCM activities relating to Campaign and new business including Coloured Hat Reviews

You will direct development and implementation of numerous Capture Plans encompassing effective Win Strategies.

Leads on understanding customer’s requirement’s, influencing strategy, requirement interpretation and Solution options including make/buy and partnering /teaming strategy with support from the wider Leadership team

Leads stakeholder management at all appropriate levels across multiple organisations and keeps the Business Leadership Team informed and engaged, including timely escalation of issues needing resolution

Develops and owns the Price to Win, driving the solution to meet it, and ensures stakeholders believe in it

Ensure smooth hand-over to Delivery Leads for delivery phase

Identify requirements for Capture team members, formally appoints them and ensures alignment of individual’s campaign objectives with their PDR

Your skills and experiences:

Must be able to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams

Extensive Business Winning experience and a deep understanding of business winning behaviours, processes, procedures and industry best practice

Extensive experience in leading, managing and delivering strategically important and high value campaigns/captures

Experience with government defence acquisition agencies, both UK and international would be beneficial

Qualified to Degree standard or equivalent

The Weapon Systems UK team:

This role reports directly to the Vice President/General Manager & Managing Director of the Weapon Systems UK business, a part of the P&S Sector. The role operates on the Business Leadership team with the opportunity to shape the business’s strategy. The Weapon Systems UK business is at an inflection point and forecasting a significant growth trajectory. There are a significant number of opportunities across both existing and new products and markets which this role will be pivotal in making a reality.
